Swedish roaster Löfbergs has highlighted Poland as a market with “significant growth potential” and is strengthening its position in the country with the appointment of Tomasz Gruszczynski.
Gruszczynski will be in charge of driving growth in Poland in line with the upcoming launch of Löfbergs’ ICE coffee products in the country.
“Poland offers exciting opportunities, and with Tomasz on board we are well positioned to take the next step in our growth journey,” says Anders Fredriksson, CEO of Löfbergs.
Before joining the Swedish coffee brand, Gruszczynski managed Costa Express in Poland for Coca-Cola and prior to that looked after Tchibo‘s energy drinks sector.
“Löfbergs stands for great coffee and strong values. As a Swedish family-owned company committed to sustainability, we believe Polish consumers will truly appreciate both our coffee and our approach,” he says.
The appointment of Gruszczynski follows the roaster’s recent announcement of a new CCO to drive international growth.
Founded in Sweden in 1906, Löfbergs now also operates in Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom. The company produces 12 million cups of coffee per day and is one of the world’s largest purchasers of organic and Fairtrade coffee.
