South Korea’s The Venti is the latest Asian coffee chain preparing to take on the United States (US) market, with SNC Sein – the operator of the brand – signing a multiunit franchise agreement with JINP to take the brand overseas.

The agreement is for JINP to operate multiple outlets in the western region of the United States, before proposed expansion in the area.

The Venti’s move into this new market reflects its recent growth. Operating more than 1500 stores in South Korea, it also has four stores in Canada and one in Vietnam.

It also signed an agreement with JKT Networks in Jordan to open its first Middle Eastern outlet earlier this year, with this location expected to open before the end of 2025.

Low-cost Asian coffee chains are seizing the opportunity to expand into and already flush US market, with the likes of China’s Luckin Coffee and Cotti Coffee also stepping into the region in 2025.

Luckin started its US journey with the opening of two stores in Manhattan in July 2025, while Cotti opened its locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn in June 2025 after initially expanding into California.
