Mahlkönig grinders will be an official sponsor of used in the 2012 Specialty Coffee Association of Europe’s (SCAE) World Barista Championships (WBC) and World Latte Art Championship from 12 – 15 June in Vienna. The German-based company will provide grinders and technicians to competing baristas in the WBC, including the K30 Vario and K30 espresso grinder. Mahlkönig will also sponsor the SCAE event by providing grinders to the Brew Bar, barista preparation area, workshop stations and the SCAE Village. Mahlkönig first supported the WBC in 2005. From 2009 until 2011 Mahlkönig has sponsored the WBC held in Atlanta, London and Bogota.
