Rancilio Group has announced Massimiliano Bizzarri will be the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of 1 January 2024. Bizzarri succeeds Ruggero Ferrari, who has led Rancilio Group for the past four years.

“I welcome this new challenge with great enthusiasm, and I thank both Ali Group for the trust they have placed in me and Ruggero for the splendid job he has done in recent years,” says Bizzarri.

“I will put all the experience I have gained in my professional career at the company’s disposal, and I am sure that together we will achieve new goals and accompany Rancilio Group towards a new phase of transformation and expansion.”

Massimiliano Bizzarri holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has experience with multinational industrial groups in different business sectors, from automotive to food processing equipment. He joined Ali Group in September 2023 as Senior Vice President EMEA APAC and in recent years has held senior roles at Interpump Group as Division President and at GEA Group as Business Unit CEO.

“It has been a privilege to lead the Rancilio Group during a period of great global change and I am proud of the results we have achieved in these four years,” says Ferrari.

“I have decided to leave the Group for family reasons and to dedicate myself to new professional goals, but I will continue enthusiastically to follow the evolution of the Rancilio Group.”
