Moccona, part of the JDE Peet’s family of coffee brands, has launched its Liquid Espresso Coffee Sachets in Australia, which it says is the first product of its type in the country.

The single-serve concentrated coffee sachets are now available nationally in grocery stores including Woolworths and Coles, as well as independent retailers. The eight-pack format retails at AU$8.60 and comes in three flavours: Medium Roast, Dark Roast, and Caramel, all of which are crafted from 100 per cent Arabica beans.

“Consumers want great coffee without the hassle, and that’s exactly what Moccona Liquid Espresso delivers,” says Virginia Marsh, Jacobs Douwe Egberts AU Marketing Director at Moccona. “It’s convenient, versatile, and premium in taste, with a format designed for how people live and drink today.”

Moccona says the new product launch responds to the increasing shift towards personalised, portable, and time-saving coffee formats. Liquid concentrate products currently represent just 0.4 per cent of the total coffee share, yet the company believes the sector shows strong potential for growth.

According to research commissioned by the brand, 76 per cent of consumers said they would incorporate the product into their existing coffee routine, reinforcing its potential to drive incremental growth within the category. Designed for time-poor, working consumers, the new format aims to deliver a practical solution that meets growing demand for quality and convenience in everyday routines.

“Not only is Liquid Espresso convenient, but it also unlocks a new standard in everyday coffee. Where quality, speed and customisation can all co-exist,” says Marsh.
