The National Coffee Association (NCA) has announced 10 ways to stay connected at the 2022 NCA Virtual Convention from 8 to 10 March.

Coffee industry executives, professionals, and decision makers from across the supply chain will gather for three days of virtual education and networking.

On 8 March, the NCA 2022 program will include a range of guest speakers presenting on topics including the evolution of trade and logistics, disrupting workplace bias, and whether the Brazil Freeze will occur again this winter.

On 9 March, learn about how to fuel your brand, mobilising shared investment for on-farm innovations, pest pressures in green bean logistics and the future of ready-to-drink coffee in the United States.

On 10 March, hear from speakers on the impact of remote working, the current state of the food service industry, sustainable initiatives in Hawaiian coffee and opportunities in the coffee sector for global climate action, among other topics.

All educational sessions can be streamed for 30 days on demand after the event.

After logging into the virtual event platform, the NCA says attendees can take part in the event’s Step n’ Serve Challenge using the app MoveSpring, which will track participants’ step count as they progress toward a shared goal.

Once the group achieves the goal, a portion of the sponsors’ and participants’ proceeds will be donated to the 2021 NCA Coffee Gives Back Showcase participants.

Participants can join one-on-one or group chat video functions to share thoughts on each session.

Using the SmartMatch program, which can generate appointments based on profile responses, attendees and exhibitors can be automatically matched with colleagues in the coffee categories they’re interested in.

Partakers can also meet a potential vendor during the dedicated Exhibitor Time and SmartMatch appointment hours.

To connect further, virtual attendees can join the Wednesday or Thursday Networking Coffee and Chat, as well as Tuesday Trivia, or Wednesday Magician and Mentalist Virtual Happy Hours.
