Nespresso USA has rung in the new year with the launch of its New York City flagship, with threw its doors open in late December 2025.
The brand has called the location the “culmination of the brand’s reimagined retail strategy as the eighth and largest global model of its kind”.
The lower level of the 13,900 square-foot space contains the Hidden Cup Coffee Bar which serves visitors drinks inspired by trends like functionally enhanced coffee alongside Nespresso classics.
Nespresso will also showcase its proprietary mocktail experience, designed to infuse coffee aromas for a multisensory coffee mixology experience.
The second space on the lower level, the Nespresso Lounge, contains self-service Nespresso machines, alongside details of where machines can be found in restaurants and hotels around the city.
The ground floor features a Taste and Discover space where visitors can undertake self guided tastings and a coffee theatre of employee-led masterclasses.
Vice President of Sales, Nespresso USA, Jason Webber has labelled the store as the “pinnacle” of the company’s retail strategy.
“Our Nespresso New York City Flagship is more than a boutique,” he says. “As the pinnacle of our retail strategy, it’s the first in North America to bring our vision to life, blending the elements of discovery and experience with a local NYC touch.”
The store is located at 85 Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron district.
Headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland, Nespresso operates in 96 markets with more than 14,000 employees. In 2024 it operated a retail network of 818 boutiques.
