Commercial coffee machine manufacturer Nuova Simonelli has released the Oscar Mood, a one-group semi-professional coffee machine designed to combine “total wellbeing and the pleasure of coffee”.
Created for those who love the taste of espresso and milk-based drinks, the Oscar mood comes in four different colours including black, guacamole, taupe and red, allowing it to fit in different environments.

The steam is button operated with the steam wand coated in a ‘cool touch’ coating that prevents the risk of scaling. According to Nuova Simonelli, it also has an easy-to-read, intuitive control panel that shows dispensing time.
With a thermo-compensated and dispenser group, the Oscar Mood provides consistent, quality coffee pulls with its 1200 Watts of power, combining a heat exchanger system and proportional-integral-derivative controller to ensure consistent results and thermal stability.
The boiler temperature is electronically controlled by a professional pressure switch and has an integrated bypass that regulates the pressure, which Nuova Simonelli says, is aimed at sparking coffee makers creativity, leading them to explore new drinks, blends and tastes.
Additional touches have also been added to its appearance, including the wooden filter holder handle, a new steel micropore mesh and a push-button steam control, rather than a lever.
Nuova Simonelli adds that the range of colours allows users to choose a different personality for Oscar, with the machine being compact enough to be taken anywhere the user wants and a water tank that is ready within 15 minutes of turning on.
