Nuova Simonelli announced on 17 May that after great success on the American and Asian continents, the Aurelia II T3 will continue its world tour back to Europe. Gwilym Davies, 2009 World Barista Championships (WBC) Champion; James Hoffmann 2007 WBC Champion, Alejandro Mendez 2011 WBC Champion and Fritz Storm 2002 WBC Champion all took part in the tour for the official coffee machine for the 2012 – 2014 WBC. On 19 May the Aurelia II T3 will be presented by Spanish Barista Champion Javier Garcia (WBC finalist in 2011) during the Barista Jamón in Barcelona. The event will be in 021 Studio (C / Badajoz 88, Poblenou) starting at 4pm. A week later, on 25 May, Gwilym Davies  will fly to Berlin to Nuova Simonelli's partner Pro Macchina Da Caffè, for a presentation of the machine which, in less than a month, will be featured at the World Barista Championship. The event will be held at the Pro Macchina Da Caffè  (Ackerstrasse, 173-10155 Berlin-Mitte). The machine will also take centre stage during the Championnat de France de Barista 2012, as the competition's official competition espresso machine.
