Food and coffee chain Pret A Manger has announced a new partnership with AI-powered digital workplace company YOOBIC to support its frontline teams and help pursue its global expansion plans.

The European company plans to double its global footprint to more than 1000 stores over the next three to five years, facilitated by a growing network of franchise partners. Pret A Manger has employed YOOBIC to utilise its arsenal of 525 different support tools in 15 international markets to ensure the chain delivers consistent service experiences and standards around the world as it expands.

“Our customers expect the best possible experience each and every time they shop with us, and YOOBIC helps us provide that consistently at both directly operated and franchised locations,” says Mark Corney, Pret A Manger Global Operations Development Director.

“Quality and safety are paramount at Pret, and partnering with YOOBIC enables us to expand with confidence while empowering both fresh hires and seasoned team members to deliver amazing experiences for our customers.”

YOOBIC aims to maintain Pret’s standards by compiling its standard operating procedures into a unified virtual hub. This centre of information will include all Pret expectations and policies, from routine cleaning to brand standards and health and hygiene regulations.

Frontline teams will have immediate access to this centre of information from anywhere in the world, while senior leaders retain full visibility and control over the company’s global operations. These leaders can identify and remedy problems remotely through the YOOBIC platform.

“When it comes to food service, there’s no room for error. Providing safe, hygienic, and brand-appropriate experiences requires meticulous attention to detail from every single frontline team member—and that’s the challenge that YOOBIC helps to solve,” says YOOBIC CEO and Co-Founder Fabrice Haiat.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Pret to support their frontline teams, and to provide the visibility and consistency needed to fuel their ambitious global expansion plans.”

Additionally, Pret employees can use YOOBIC to keep up to date with new promotion opportunities and share feedback with peers and supervisors. The company already uses the digital platform to monitor and manage more than 65,000 monthly tasks across its network of shops, with full tracking of task completion, follow-up action items, and compliance rates.
