On 19 June, more than 400 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered to Probat employees on the company premises.

Additional people outside the company were also vaccinated due to the surplus of available vaccines.

Claudia Adler, Management Assistant and Organiser of the vaccination campaign says, “The entire vaccination campaign was a full success. I am proud to have such great colleagues who supported me so energetically here.

“On behalf of the staff, however, I would also like to thank our management in particular, which made an early effort to create the conditions for this vaccination campaign.”

The company set up a vaccination station and a waiting and registration area. A medical area was created where the vaccination took place and an area for follow-up care was established.

The vaccinations happened in a one-way system and hygiene rules such as protective face masks and 1.5 metre social distancing was in place.

Wim Abbing, CEO of Probat, was also administered his second vaccine dose on the day.

“I am thrilled by the commitment of the employees who organised this campaign so perfectly,” says Abbing.

“But I was also particularly pleased about the great willingness to vaccinate within the Probat workforce. This vaccination was an important step for Probat to further contain the pandemic.”

Probat is a German based coffee roaster and processing plant manufacturer, operating within the coffee industry for more than 150 years.
