Probat released a new roll mill grinder on the occasion of this year’s Interpack event in Dusseldorf. With a flexible number of grinding stages, as well as an innovative drive concept, the grinder complies with the special requirements of capsule producers. The new UW 300.3 grinder features a 300mm roll length design and three grinding stages. The number of grinding stages can be varied depending on the end product’s degree of grinding requests. It also possesses an innovative drive concept where either one drive for both grinding rolls can be selected for each grinding stage, or individual drives for each grinding roll. Via this concept, the grinders allow a flexible adaptation of the relative speeds on the two rolls to each other, resulting in new influencing factors on the grinding result.
