The Rancilio and Moffat Groups have announced a combined strategic partnership, establishing Rancilio Group Australasia, effective now.

Both companies are part of the Ali Group, one of the largest global leaders in the foodservice equipment industry.

The companies say joining Moffat’s market leadership in Australia and New Zealand with Rancilio Group’s global expertise in the coffee industry, Rancilio Group Australasia will guarantee the highest customer care for roasters, distributors, key accounts, and baristas, improving the dedication and attention it’s team already offers.

Moffat Group joined the Ali Group in 2000 and has extensive distribution, service, and dealer relationships, supported by corporate offices in all major cities across the region.

Rancilio says it’s now in the position to further develop its portfolio of products across Australia and New Zealand with extended local sales, service, and parts support.

Showrooms and training centres will form part of this new strategy.

Paul O’Brien will continue to lead the business as General Manager of Rancilio Group Australasia, based in Melbourne.
