Rancilio Group has announced Rancilio Specialty will be the official sponsor of the Italian Latte Art (CILA) and Coffee In Good Spirits (CIGS) Championships that will designate the Italian representatives at the World Championships in Taipei this November.
SIGEP is an international show that rewards talents, promotes innovation and is committed to spreading the excellence of Dolce all over the world. From 21 to 25 January 2023 at the Coffee Arena of the Rimini Expo Centre, SIGEP will host the finals of the Italian Barista Championships organised in collaboration with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Italy and the World Coffee Championships.
Rancilio Specialty RS1 is the professional coffee machine that will accompany the competing professionals from the preliminary rounds to the finals. Competitors will also be guests of the Rancilio Group stand throughout SIGEP, where they will have the opportunity to train and prepare for the competition by getting familiar with RS1 extraction and steam lever technology.
This machine with unique design, and designed to improve the experience of the barista and the customer, will be available in three special versions selected specifically for the event: green, blue and purple.
Visitors to the stand will be able to admire the professionals at work, meet them in person and taste coffees from all over the world. They will also be able to follow the finals of the Championships which will take place on Monday 23 January (CIGS) and Tuesday 24 January (CILA) in the company of Rancilio Specialty.
