The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) has announced the 2020 Re:co Symposium and Specialty Coffee Expo scheduled to take place in April are cancelled.

“After many weeks of discussions with our partners regarding the impacts of COVID-19 on SCA events, today we are sad to announce that the 2020 Re:co Symposium and Specialty Coffee Expo scheduled to take place in Portland in April are now cancelled,” the SCA says in a statement.

“I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to every single one of our sponsors, exhibitors, attendees, and volunteers for your patience and understanding over the past few weeks while we negotiated the future of these two events with our partners.”

Both events will return in 2021 in Louisiana, New Orleans, United States of America where the Re:Co Symposium will take place from 21 to 22 April and The Specialty Coffee Expo will follow from 23 to 25 April.
