Coffee giant Starbucks has teamed up with software goliath Microsoft to make it easier to buy someone a coffee. A new feature in Microsoft’s email program, Outlook, will make it possible for people to email their acquaintance a Starbucks gift card with the click of a button. According to Microsoft’s website: “With the Starbucks for Outlook Add-in, you can easily send Starbucks eGift Cards and schedule meetings at Starbucks stores, directly from your email. Just click the Starbucks for Outlook Add-in, select email addresses from your contacts, and choose to send a Starbucks eGift Card or create a meeting invite.” The new feature was released on 15 June, 2016, and is available to users with an Office365 or Exchange account.
