Polish barista’s will battle it out on a VA388 Black Eagle espresso machine using a Mahlkoenig Mythos One grinder at the Misrzostwa Polski Barista Championships, 28 February – 1 March. Victoria Arduino has been named as the official machine sponsor of the event, which is a qualifier for the World Barista Championship (WBC) taking place in Seattle, United States, 9 – 12 April. The VA388 is the official espresso coffee machine for the WBC from 2015 – 2017. “The VA388 Black Eagle’s T3 technology will ensure standards of accuracy in terms of extraction, flexibility, control and thermal stability,” said Victoria Arduino, in a statement. “The machine has a lower profile compared to past models and all the commands, from digital to manual, have been carefully designed to be extremely functional and ergonomic.” Victoria Arduino said the Mythos One On Demand features an innovative milling chamber, which ensures a constant dose and therefore a better quality of espresso extraction. Victoria Arduino wished all the competitors good luck and thanked them for their contribution to the industry.
