Vietnam’s coffee export industry is booming according to the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), which says the nation exported 37,700 tonnes of coffee in the first half of November 2025.
From 1 to 15 November, Vietnam exported coffee worth a total of US$218 million, a 75 per cent increase in year-on-year value.
The first half of November has followed the trend of Vietnam massively increasing its coffee export capabilities over 2025. Between the start of the year and 15 November, coffee exports have reached close to 1.35 million tonnes valued at US$7.64 billion.
More than one million tonnes of that exported coffee were Robusta valued at US$5.54 billion, with Arabica totally just under 63,000 tonnes worth US$416 million.
Higher export prices have seen the value of Vietnam’s Robusta exports surge 60.5 per cent in value, and Arabica 108.4 per cent in value year-on-year, despite volume only increasing by 11.8 per cent and 8.2 per cent respectively.
