Vollers Group, a German-based company specialising in commodity logistics including for coffee, has acquired a global online auction platform for the coffee industry from Sensible Development Limited.

“It is with great excitement and anticipation that we announce the acquisition of Sensible Development Limited’s auction platform,” says Vollers Group Owner and Director Christian Vollers.

The acquisition underlines the Vollers Group’s strategic path to provide digital services in the coffee, cocoa, and tea world.

The auction platform will be renamed V-Auction in line with the acquisition and will be managed by the group’s subsidiary V-Auction Limited.

“At Vollers, we are not just acquiring a platform; we are investing in the future of digital coffee auctioning. Our legacy in coffee, combined with our logistical expertise and commitment to innovation, positions us uniquely to drive positive change in the industry,” says Vollers.

V-Auction will aim to become a key player in the digital auction space, offering an efficient experience for stakeholders in the coffee industry and beyond.
