Debuted for the first time at the SCAA Expo 2011, the newest Strada basket is an example of using technological advances to the highest level. Traditionally, variances in total open area and size and hole distribution result in significant shot-to-shot inconsistencies and systemic over or underextraction. The new Strada Basket is produced using a new proprietry production process and VST Filter Imaging System for quality control – an imaging system that uses FBI fingerprint technology. The result is advanced precision to plus or minus one micron, reduced sediment and consistency. Each filter basket is uniquely coded for manufacturing quality control and product authenticity.
