On 1 September, Martin Zouhar was appointed WMF’s new Executive Vice President SEB Professional PCM and Hotel, and is now responsible for WMF’s coffee machines and hotel businesses.

Zouhar will also manage brands such as WMF, Schaerer, Curtis, and HEPP, that are all in the professional business.

As a member of the WMF Executive Leadership Team and the Executive Committee of Groupe SEB (ComEx), Zouhar will report directly to Oliver Kastalio, CEO of WMF. He will succeed Johan Van Riet, who is leaving the company at his own request.

“I am delighted that we have gained Martin Zouhar, a proven strategist with a great deal of experience in the international arena, whom I know well and hold in very high esteem from my work on the Executive Committee of Groupe SEB,” says WMF CEO Oliver Kastalio.

“Under his leadership, we can continue our ambitious growth course in the coffee machine and hotel business at an international level.”

Zouhar joined Groupe SEB, WMF’s parent company, in 2000, having served as a general manager for the markets of Central Europe, the United Kingdom, Eurasia, and more.

He has also held the position of Executive Vice President of Groupe SEB’s market in North and Central America.

WMF, short for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (Württemberg Metal Works Factory), has products in more than 120 countries and employs more than 6000 employees. Today it continues to be a leading supplier of premium household products, professional coffee machines, and hotel equipment.
