WMF ensures its global clients are offered digital solutions for their coffee machines and that their machines are serviced reliably and run efficiently through collaborations with international partners, such as in South Korea and Russia.

In South Korea, the Jeju Dream Tower, a five-star Hyatt hotel on the island of Jeju, serves its guests coffee on 31 WMF 5000 S+ fully automatic machines. These 31 units make up most of the hotel’s coffee machines and provide guests with consistent, specialty coffee that does “justice to the fine dining in the restaurants”.

The hotel also uses a WMF 1100 S coffee machine with 14 heated cup racks.

The Jeju Island is located south of the Korean peninsula and is a popular holiday destination. The hotel has 1600 rooms and suites, 14 restaurants, and an adjoining casino. To be able to meet these guests’ coffee needs, the Jeju Dream Tower relies on WMF’s machines and accessories, that were purchased from the Dooree Corporation.

The Dooree Corporation is a longstanding partner of WMF and is responsible for the consultation, installation, and servicing of the machines.

WMF says through the Dooree Corporation, it can guarantee that guests at the Jeju Dream Tower can benefit from the same machine quality as in WMF’s home location of Geislingen an der Steige, Germany.

Meanwhile in Russia, outlets at the Uppetit catering chain in St Petersburg rely on the WMF 1500 S machines, which are provided and serviced by RusHOLTS.

These machines meet significantly different demands, with efficiency the key priority across the company’s 12 outlets. These stores use a self-serve concept that offer baked goods and ready-to-eat meals, catering towards the urban lifestyle of young Russians.

To ensure the Uppetit’s coffee matches the quality and standards of its food products, the brand uses WMF 1500 S machines to produce high-quality takeaway coffee.

These machines are used across four of the franchise’s stores and, according to WMF, have caused Uppetit’s coffee beverages sales to increase by 25 per cent.

The WMF 1500 S machine has also integrated the BMS Coffee Control telemetry platform, installed with the assistance of RusHOLTS. This cloud system enables the company to reduce service costs through its detailed data analysis.

“As such, RusHOLTS supports Russian WMF customers such as Uppetit with customised solutions and plays a decisive role in the fulfilment of WMF’s ‘Designed to Perform’ global performance promise,” WMF says.

“In both cases, the trade and service partners make a decisive contribution to the positive reputation of the WMF brand around the world with their technical expertise and market knowledge.”
