World Coffee Events (WCE) is debuting an annual specialty coffee symposium Re:co in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 15 – 16 June. Held immediately prior to the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe’s World of Coffee Show, the two-day event will look primarily at the specialty coffee market in Europe. “The event will provide a wider scope than just the state of the market, the challenges we face and some of the solutions we have,” said WCE. “Re:co will also shine a light on opportunities for growth and development and will delve into how these can be approached.” According to WCE, a number of key scientists and renowned global figures in the fields of sustainability, business and politics will explore crucial issues affecting specialty coffee. Organisers are inviting attendees to interact with influential figures in the specialty coffee industry and engage in the range of social events and networking opportunities. WCE will provide details of speakers and a program schedule in the coming weeks. Registration for Re:co is now open via the World of Coffee registration portal.
