Following the 2020 postponement of the Specialty Coffee Association’s (SCA) World of Coffee’s event, the association has announced the event is now set to take place 23 to 25 June 2022 in Warsaw, Poland.
These dates have slightly changed since SCA’s initial announcement of 16 to 18 June 2022. The association says this is to ensure a better attendee experience.
“We are now extremely excited to welcome back exhibitors, attendees, sponsors, and the wider coffee community for Europe’s largest specialty coffee trade show,” says World of Coffee.
Show features such as the Best New Product Competition and Display and the Coffee Design Awards will return, along with experiential opportunities such as the Roaster’s Village, tasting rooms, and the Brew and Espresso Bar features.
Industry experts will be selected to inspire, educate, and motivate at the event’s lectures, with workshops ranging in skill level, price, and length also available.
Educational materials, coffee tools, apparel, books, and more will also be available at the Specialty Coffee Association store.
The event will also host four competitions under the 2022 World Coffee Championships. These include the World Latte Art, World Coffee in Good Spirits, World Cup Tasters, and World Coffee Roasting Championships.
Registration for World of Coffee will open in February 2022.
