Brazil’s Cerrado Coffee Growers Cooperative (Expocacer), known for its specialty coffee, will launch a new e-commerce platform at the Specialty Coffee Expo 2025 in Houston, United States, from 25 to 27 April.

The new e-commerce platform aims to revolutionise the way buyers around the world purchase coffee from the cooperative, and is said to offer a fast, secure, and transparent process.

“This e-commerce space will allow buyers from across the globe to purchase coffee directly from Expocacer’s producers with the convenience and security of a digital environment,” says Ítalo Henrique, Expocacer’s Commercial Director.

“During the event, visitors will have the chance to register and explore the new platform, which promises to streamline the process of buying and trading specialty coffee. The cooperative aims to establish new strategic partnerships and optimise logistical processes, making international transactions faster and more efficient, whether for large, medium, or small volumes.”

Expocacer will also showcase the launch of new labels and product lines at the international Expo.

“This new coffee offering underscores Expocacer’s commitment to its cooperative members and the sustainability of coffee production in the region, blending innovation with social and environmental responsibility,” says Simão Pedro de Lima, CEO of Expocacer.

The cooperative will be at booth 128 and will host a variety of activities, including tastings and exclusive samples from the new labels. Cupping sessions will be held at the following times during the event:

April 25: 12pm to 1pm (local time)

April 26: 9am to 10am (local time) and 1pm to 2pm (local time)

In January 2025, Expocacer reported a record 41 per cent increase in coffee exports in 2024 compared to 2023.
