Coffee processing equipment manufacturer Probat has continued to strengthen its focus on the chocolate and cocoa space, fully integrating MacIntyre Chocolate Systems into its corporate brand portfolio.
The strategic realignment and bringing together of the MacIntyre portfolio under the Probat name has been undertaken in the goal of creating a stronger and more differentiated presence in the food manufacturing sector and growing its abilities as an end-to-end solutions provider.
The integration of MacIntyre follows a pair of other acquisitions by Probat in the global cocoa, chocolate, and snackfoods sector, Royal Duyvis Wiener of the Netherlands and AC Horn of the United States.
Probat CEO, Wim Abbing, says aligning the company’s brands under one umbrella helps amplify global visibility and progresses ambitions to grow its share of the food processing market.
“Bringing all our brands together under the Probat name creates a unified identity that boosts our strength on the global market,” says Abbing.
“This approach allows us to leverage combined expertise, deliver comprehensive turnkey solutions across multiple segments, and offer customers a seamless experience.
“It is a decisive step that maximises our reach and reinforces our position as the leading force in food processing.”
