Coffee and food processing systems provider Probat has appointed Ersoy Karakoc as a new member of its Advisory Board, succeeding Dr Michael Brockhausen who is stepping down.
A trained banker and business administration graduate, Karakoc will focus on progressing digital change management and global IT solutions for the brand. Probat says his experience in transformation management will support its ongoing strategic development of its core business and recent acquisitions.
“We are pleased to welcome Ersoy Karakoc, whose strong background and skills will be a valuable asset in the strategic development of Probat,” says Nils Erichsen, Chairman of the Advisory Board.
“We are confident that he will play a key role in supporting the group’s continued growth and innovation on its path to becoming the first address for all customers in the food sector, beyond coffee. At the same time, we would like to thank Dr Michael Brockhausen sincerely for his dedicated service and contributions over the past few years.”
Karakoc joins board members Nils Erichsen and Dr Stephan Feldhaus. He says he is excited to take on this new challenge with the Italian manufacturer.
“I look forward to becoming acquainted with Probat and gaining a deeper understanding of the company’s key drivers and core strengths,” he says.
“By combining these with my experience in strategy and digital transformation, I hope to contribute to well-founded conclusions that will enable the Group to capitalise on growth opportunities within the food sector.”
