Rancilio, Rancilio Specialty, and Egro have unveiled the latest evolution of its Classe 5 and Classe 5 Eco machines – the Class 5 Crono and Classe 5 Eco Crono.

The Classe 5 Crono comes in four versions – one-group, two-group, two-group compact, and three-group – while the Classe 5 Eco Crono is available in the two-group compact version. Borth can be configured with tall groups for higher cup clearance.

Designed for baristas who demand precision and performance in every cup, the new Classe 5 Crono features a central display above the groups that measures extraction time.

Each group is also fitted with a shot timer integrated into the digital display, which also presents information when setting coffee doses and starting the cleaning cycle.

The daily cleaning cycle is completed in just five minutes, with the control panel showing the status of the cycle in real time. Classe 5 Crono also supports pods and caps, cup warmers, iSteam, and ergonomic LED lights.

Like the Classe 5 USB, Classe 5 Crono is also fitted with Rancilio’s patented Steady Brew (SB) technology, which is designed to improve the performance of single-boiler espresso machines through maintaining constant water temperature during extraction.

Production on the Classe 5 Crono machines is expected to commence in January 2026.
