Swiss Coffee equipment brand Thermoplan celebrates the World Latte Art Championship 2025 as the highlight of World of Coffee Geneva.
As the official machine partner of the Championship held from 26 to 28 June, Thermoplan provided its Black&White4 Competizione for the 37 competitors who took part in the event.
The three-day competition saw the participants take part in multiple rounds in front of a total crowd of about 10,000 people. The competitors were tasked with creating technically identical free-pour and designer lattes under time pressure, presented to judges who scored criteria including symmetry, contrast, originality, and presentation.
Chen Zhuohao from China was awarded the World Latte Art Champion 2025 title. The team at Thermoplan say Chen’s designs impressed not only on a technical level but also artistically, with “exceptional perfection, refined artistic sensibility, and latte art that left the audience in awe”.
The brand also had a booth at the event, with a design inspired by Geneva’s famous landmarks. Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to experience the World Latte Art Championship machine live and in action.
